Mission

The NCAA Athletics Project (NAP) is focused on providing an exciting free resource to help our wonderful student-athletes in Canada understand the NCAA eligibilty process, recruitment procedures, athletic scholarships, expert tips, and to learn more about their admissions counselors from U.S. colleges and universities.

We are very happy to be working directly with the NCAA at our webinars and excited to welcome our fantastic U.S. colleges and universities to support Canada. We know that there are a lot of students here who have dreams of playing competitively at a NCAA division team. We hope this project will prepare them well and also teach them the importance of balancing their academic and athletic endeavors by reaching out to their admissions counselors as soon as possible.

We wish our students every success with their college applications and look forward to watching them represent Canada on the big stage!

Daniel Daffner I Director of Athletics & Community Relations

"Helping our young athletes find success has always been a passion of mine. It is imperative for our Canadian athletic community to be well-informed and make the most out of their preparations to play competitively for the NCAA. In prior experiences, I have worked with a variety of partners, educators, coaches, and trainers in assisting with finding the right fit for our student-athletes. I am very excited to be working with CollegeTrackr Canada to support our mission to bring exciting free resources for students in Canada!"

Student-athletes.

It's a dream for any student-athlete to play competitively for the NCAA while studying at their best-fit U.S. college or university. So, what does it take to get there? How can our students from Canada best prepare and learn about what undergraduate opportunities are available for them?

We are glad to be collaborating directly with the NCAA and colleges and universities in the United States who have joined this project to support our student-athletes from Canada. It's simple - we work with the NCAA at our events and collaborate with U.S. colleges and universities to build beautiful profiles to help students identify who their main point of contact are from their institutions.

Our 2019 NCAA Speaker

We are extremely fortunate to be collaborating with the NCAA at our upcoming event!

Elizabeth Thompson - NCAA

Elizabeth Thompson is the associate director of international outreach and education for the NCAA Eligibility Center. She holds degrees in both international relations and French. During her nine years with the NCAA, Elizabeth has held various roles surrounding international student-athlete eligibility—from answering questions for NCAA member schools, students and parents, to overseeing the international academic certification process and relevant NCAA committees.

Her current role educating future international prospective student-athletes and those who work closely with them on what it takes to become eligible for the NCAA and all of the opportunities in the U.S. is by far her favorite role yet.
